January Favourites 2016

A new year means a new chance to discover new things, especially as I've had things for Christmas that I've been able to try out. Whilst there are some favourites from 2015 that I still love, I wanted this month's favourites to include all new things which I'm going to try to do for the rest of the year as well. This means that you won't keep reading about the same products so you'll just have to remember that my love for them may well span over more than one month.

Entertainment:
Inside Out- This film has become one of my all time favourites as I love the whole concept of it and I think it's done in a brilliant way that makes me think, laugh and cry. It's very deep with a lot more meaning and emotion behind things than it first appears.
How To Get Away With Murder- In my 2015 favourites, I mentioned that Eye Candy was the only TV show that I loved almost as much as PLL however since then, I have watched the first season of How To Get Away With Murder and it is rivaling PLL for the top spot in my TV favourites. I love the style of the show as it flicks between 'the night', leading up to that night and after that night with more details slotting into place with each episode. It was done extremely cleverly and with each episode, I was desperate to watch the next to find out what happens next. I recommend this show to anyone who enjoys dramas, mysteries or crime based programs.
Under The Dome Season 2- I watched the first season of this over a year ago and hadn't had any luck finding season 2 so when I received it for Christmas, I was excited to get back into the show and it was even better than I expected it to be. After watching season one in a day, I half expected season two to go down hill a bit but I found it just as addictive and even more gripping and tense than the first one.
90210 Season 5- After watching the first four seasons in 2015, I was very pleased to see season 5 added to Netflix. I think I enjoyed the last season even more than the others as I'd had more of a break between and so their repeated mistakes didn't bother me as much and I started to like most of the characters more than I had before.
Kingsman: The Secret Service- I didn't think I would really like this film as I expected it to be heavily action based which it was but it wasn't a serious action film. I found it hilarious at various points throughout the film and I fell in love with Eggsy's character.
5SOS How Did We End Up Here- I really enjoyed watching this DVD and being able to relive the Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour as well as learn more about how the band got to where they are today.
Joe and Caspar Hit The Road- Joe and Caspar have really succeeded in creating a film that provides laughs from the start. I don't really watch Caspar's videos very often but I found both him and Joe hilarious in the film and thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
Acoustic Covers Of Pop Songs- A couple of weeks ago, we all went to our friends house for a lovely evening and a delicious meal (hi Vicky and Jess if you're reading this) and whilst there, they put on an acoustic cover of pop songs playlist which I fell in love with. There were so many beautiful covers of singers with amazing, stripped back voices whereby you could really hear the emotion behind it.
Catch Me If You Can- I'd never heard of this film before but we watched it on New Years Day in Germany, the group of us all together and out of the 11 people there, as far as I'm aware, everybody loved it. It had so many big names in it including Tom Hanks, Leonardo Dicaprio, Christopher Walken, Amy Adams, Elizabeth Banks and so on as well as being directed by Steven Spielberg. It was based on a true story but was so unbelievable that it made it quite humorous to see all of his successes. If you haven't seen this film before, I highly recommend you give it a watch as it is brilliant and is something that I think most people would enjoy no matter what their preferred film type is.

Beauty and Fashion:
Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Care- As I've mentioned a couple of times on here recently, my skin isn't great at the moment and seems to be prone to break outs so I thought I'd give some tea tree products a try as in the past they've worked quite well on my skin. Whilst Boxing Day sales shopping I found a set with a cleanser, a toner and a moisturiser which seems to be helping my skin although it's still got a long way to go until it's back to being almost clear.
Maybelline Color Tattoo- I love these eye products as they are a great base and they last really well. They are pigmented and pretty enough to wear on their own or to be used with another eye product which is my preferred method. At the moment I have the shades On and On Bronze and Pink Gold, both of which are gorgeous and whilst I'd love to buy a few more shades, I think I have enough eye products for now.
Benefit Hoola Kit- This kit is beautiful. I love the They're Real mascara and whilst I would love to buy myself one when I've finished the one in the kit, I'm not sure I can justify spending £20 on a mascara when there are cheaper ones I love. The Hoola bronzer, as I'm sure you will have already heard, is gorgeous. It's great for creating a bronze look as well as for defining your cheek bones. I also really love the Benebalm and am seriously considering buying a full size one when I have finished this one as it feels really lovely on the lips and adds a more subtle colour when used alone or a more full lip look when used with the Benetint.
Benefit Gina Perfume- All of the perfumes in the Crescent Row set smell lovely but my favourite is the My Place Or Yours Gina which again, I'd love a full size bottle of when the small size has gone.
Urban Decay Shadow Box- The Shadow Box is a handy size for putting in your makeup bag to take away with you and I find that it contains all of the key shades you need. Like all Urban decay eyeshadows, the quality is great and the shades in the palette all look gorgeous even if I wouldn't use some of the more daring colours on a regular basis.
Bourjois Intense Extrait Sand Pink Shimmer 03 Eyeshadow- I love the shimmer this product contains, it really helps to make an eye look sparkle. I've loved adding this to my eyes as the final product to add a lovely finish.
Trainers- These trainers are so comfortable as they have a memory foam insole which makes them fit around your feet nicely whilst you're working out. They are also really pretty which makes me want to wear them more often which in turn makes me want to exercise more.
Bed Hoodie- I got this soft, cosy bed hoodie for Christmas and I have practically lived in it since returning from Germany, particularly as it has been so cold as it's easy to just throw on when lounging around the house.
Gym Clothes- Like with the trainers, the new gym clothes I bought after Christmas look really nice which makes me want to wear them to exercise more often. Cute gym clothes are a great workout motivator.
Gold Hoop Earrings- These are my new favourite earrings which I have been wearing a lot this month. They're quite simple but add to an outfit and look really great.

Other:
Blanket- I have been using this A LOT through January as not only is it really warm but it's also extremely soft and comfortable, perfect for wrapping up in at the end of the day.
Sprinkle Of Glitter Diary 2016- Every year I get a diary and every year I neglect to use it after a short period of time. This year I want to improve on this and having a pretty diary is one way that will hopefully help make this possible. So far it seems to have gone okay and I find myself enjoying using it and seeing the little comments and tips from Louise at the start of the week or on the odd day.
I'd Agree With You But Then We'd Both Be Wrong Mug- I'm not entirely sure why but I love mugs and love when I find one with a quirky design or quote. As it's been really cold this month, it's been the perfect time to use this for hot drinks to warm myself up and I love that in an argument, I can just get myself a drink in the mug to finish the argument without saying a word.
New Year With Runa- You may or may not know that I spent the New Year in Germany with one of my best friends. There were six of us that went over and formed a group of 11 good friends that were able to do something together each day. Most of these things seemed to be evening or night things such as watching movies, going ice skating and the evening when four of us cooked for everybody else but we also had a couple of breakfasts together and a few shopping days. All in all the week in Germany was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with everyone, especially one of my closest friends!

'What' Tag

 1. What did you do last weekend?
It wasn't a particularly exciting weekend... On Friday night I helped sort out my grandma's cupboards as she is moving soon and whilst that may sound boring to most people, I actually really enjoyed sorting through everything and working out what to keep and what to get rid of, more so because it wasn't my own stuff which is always a lot harder to make decisions about. I was also able to have a look through the many things she was getting rid of (she's a hoarder of EVERYTHING) and have got a lovely collection of kitchen things for university- which means much less to buy! On Saturday, I went to the gym and then to the local pub in the evening and I spent Sunday doing some work and research for university accommodation and holidays.

2. What is the most important part of your life?
My family and friends!

3. What would you rather be doing?
Reading a book in the sun by the pool on holiday or shopping (for anything but especially homeware shopping) if I had money to spend.

4. What did you last cry over?
A build up of stress and upset over several things.

5. What always makes you feel better when you're upset?
If it's a slightly more long term feeling then exercising at the gym as it always clears my mind even if it's just temporarily. If it's a bad day or bad couple of hours then probably YouTube as I never feel like I have the energy to sit and read or write much when I don't feel great whereas YouTube is a quick burst of entertainment that I don't have to think much about.

6. What's the most important thing you look for in a significant other?
Probably a good sense of humour because I love to laugh and I laugh a lot so I'd like to be able to share that with someone else rather than feeling like an idiot for my random outbursts of laughter.

7. What are you worried about?
The amount of work I have to do, sorting out a holiday, university accommodation (sorting it out and the possibility of not getting the one I would like most), starting university in a completely new city with new people (I know it's not until September but I'm starting to think about it more at the moment and whilst excitement is the significant emotion related to it, there is an element of worry there)... there are several other things as well but these are the main ones and if I were to mention everything, it would be a very long post.

8. What did you have for breakfast?
Special K and Fruit with Yoghurt.

New Year Haul

It's probably no surprise that I enjoy sales given how much I enjoy shopping so of course I treated myself to a few things from the 'Boxing Day' sales, the New Year sales and a few things that I picked up whilst in Germany.

Superdrug:
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation- For a long time now I've heard various bloggers and vloggers mention this foundation and one of my friends, Abi's, foundation always looks amazing so when I found out that this was the foundation she uses, I knew I had to give it a go. I've been wearing this pretty much every day since Boxing Day and whilst I really like it, I don't think it's as good as the Max Factor one for my skin at the moment as I need a slightly heavier coverage. However, it smells lovely, feels really nice when you apply it to your skin and lasts quite well. (£9.99)
Bourjois Intense Extrait Sand Pink Shimmer 03 Eyeshadow- I have been eyeing up this eyeshadow for several months and each time I've talked myself out of it as it's always been an impulse buy as I pass it on the shelf however, I figured after waiting so long, I could treat myself to it. It is a gorgeous shimmer eyeshadow which creates a more obvious shimmer look than many other shimmer eyeshadows which I think adds a nice touch to any look. The subtle pink colour means it's great for adding to quite a natural look but could also go quite nicely over other shades as well. (£6.99)
Bourjois Nail Polish Remover- I heard Gabbie talk about this product in one of her videos and based on what she had said, I was interested in trying it for myself so when I realised Bourjois had a three for two sale and I'd already picked up two products, I figured it was the perfect time to try it. I haven't actually had nail varnish on since buying it so I can't yet comment on the quality of it yet. (£4.99)
Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Liquid Concealer- Again, I saw this in a couple of Gabbie's videos and seeing as she seemed to really like it and the fact that it's pretty much half the price of my normal concealer, I thought I'd give it a go so that I have a cheaper concealer alternative for the future. I've used it a couple of times and so far I think it's a good concealer but I wouldn't purchase it over Collection Lasting Perfection. (£2.99)

Primark:
Make Up Brush Cleaner £1.50- I'm going to hold my hands up now and admit that I do not clean my brushes as often as I should do... I did get better towards the end of last year and did them almost once a month but I want to make sure I keep on top of cleaning them. To help with this, I bought this spray brush cleaner which I plan to use weekly in between washes just to keep them in better condition.
Hair Grips £1.50- I've been after some butterfly clips for a long time now but it's something I always forget about until I'm back home wishing I had some. Whilst browsing the accessories in Primark the hair pieces caught my eye and reminded me that I wanted some so I was able to choose these really cute ones.

Deichmann:
Memory Foam Insole Trainers £24.99- New trainers are another thing I've been after for a while. I actually bought some in October but they didn't fit properly so I returned them but never looked for a replacement pair. Whilst browsing Deichmann (which is my favourite place for shoes as they do sizes that fit my wide feet better than most others), I spotted these little beauties and when I tried them on, they were far more comfortable than I ever imagined them to be and they look really pretty which makes me want to wear them more and therefore want to exercise more.

Body Shop:
Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser, Tea Tree Toner and Tea Tree Face Moisturiser £14- I believe I've mentioned this a couple of times on here already but for the past couple of months, my skin hasn't been in very good condition at all and just seems to keep breaking out. I really hate when my skin is like this and it really causes my confidence to drop so I'm trying my best to clear it up and as Body Shop tea tree products have helped in the past, I wanted to try some more to see if they would help. At first, they seemed to help a bit but now my skin seems to be almost as bad as before I started using them again so I'm going to continue using them as they make my skin feel great anyway and try eliminating other products to see if it's something that is causing my skin to react this way.
Moisturiser £9
Toner £5.50
Cleanser £5.50

Poundland:
Barry M Gold Dust- Over the Christmas period, there seemed to be a lot of eye looks with glitter which looked amazing. Each time I've been shopping, I've had a brief look for something similar and so when I saw the gold Barry M Dazzle Dust in Poundland, I thought I'd try it. It's not as obviously glittery as I'd have liked but it is useful for adding extra shimmer to an eye look. (£4,59)
Maybelline Color Show Nudes Nail Varnish in Bronze Me Up- Before Christmas, I was at my best friend's house and whilst watching Arthur Christmas, we painted our nails Christmassy. I chose to do mine silver and gold and found two gorgeous sparkly top coats in those colours which made my nails look awesome. Whilst shopping on Boxing Day, I had a quick look for these nail polishes (No7) but had no luck. Fortunately, I spotted this copper colour sparkly top nail varnish by Maybelline which looked almost identical apart from the colour. (£3.99)

Germany:
Maybelline Colour Tattoo Pink Gold and On and On Bronze- The Colour Tattoos are another beauty product I've heard a lot about but it's taken me until now to actually get one myself. I originally planned on buying one but I couldn't pick between these two shades and I'm very happy I bought them both as they are both stunning. They don't feel at all heavy on your eyes which I'm pleasantly surprised by. (£4.99)
Maybelline Brow Satin Dark Blonde- I forgot to take my brow satin to Germany (actually I accidentally picked up the one that had run out which I should have thrown away before) so after a couple of days using a powder, I decided to just buy myself a new one as nothing compares to it. (£5.99)
Max Factor Face Finity 3 in 1- This was my favourite concealer towards the end of the year and as my bottle had almost ran out, I decided to pick up a new one. (£12.99)
Gold Hoop Earrings- Last but not least, I saw a pretty pair of gold hoop earrings in Bijou Brigitte which I loved from the moment I lay eyes on them and since getting back from Germany, they have been my favourite earrings to wear. They are quite small which makes them good for a day time look as well as for an evening occasion.

I Love Drugstore Makeup Tag

1. What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand overall?
L'Oreal for eye products and Maybelline for everything else.
2. What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?
Face: Max Factor Face Finity as it lasts well and has a good medium to high coverage.
Cheek: The Revolution Ultra Blush Palette because it creates a really lovely shimmer across the cheek.
Lip: Maybelline Color Drama Velvet Lip Crayon because they are really long lasting, they have a good colour payoff, they look really nice and when they do start to come off, they wear off evenly.
3. Least favourite product?
This was a hard one but of all the products I've tried, I think I would say the MUA brow pencil as it felt a bit waxy and thick when applied.
4. What is the best makeup bargain?
I think any Revolution product is a bargain, particularly the palettes as they are of a pretty high quality, there is plenty of option and they are very inexpensive.
5. What is your favourite underdog product? (something you love that often gets overlooked)
L'Oreal Superstar False Lash Mascara which is my all time favourite mascara but since it first came out, I've not really heard anybody else talk about it. I find that it volumises and lengthens my lashes really nicely and when built up, does indeed create a false lash effect.
6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?
I think I'd say mascaras in general because a lot of them are a similar price to foundation which I don't think should be the case and as I don't want foundations to increase in price, I think mascaras' price should decrease.
7. What is your best drugstore dupe?
W7 In The Buff because it has very similar shades to the Naked 2 palette and whilst it obviously isn't as high quality as the Urban Decay eyeshadows, they're great for the price.
8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?
I'm going to put it out there and say the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara because whilst I do like it, I don't love it on it's own and therefore I don't agree with the massive hype surrounding it. Instead, I usually use it with my L'Oreal mascara or with the Benefit They're Real mascara and as a combination product, it looks lovely.

2015 Favourites

As I mentioned in my What I Got For Christmas Post, I went to Germany a couple of days after Christmas and didn't get back until the 5th January so I didn't get chance to upload my 2015 favourites in the new year. However, I still wanted to upload this post so I hope you'll enjoy reading it even though it's a bit late. I also found it quite difficult deciding which products to put in this post as there were so many things I loved in 2015, many of which featured in one monthly favourites post or another.

Beauty and Fashion:
Primark- In 2015, Primark quickly became one of my favourite stores and remained that way for the rest of the year. I've not had a problem with the quality of any of the things I've purchased and they've all been a very good price. I think my love for this store will continue for a long time, particularly as I head off to university and have to pay for a lot more with very little money.
L'Oreal False Lash Superstar Mascara- I have mentioned this mascara so many times over the year. The combination of the primer, the mascara and the wand makes lashes really stand out through volumising and lengthening them. I've found this a great mascara for a full yet slightly natural look with one coat or for a more dramatic, false lash effect by applying more coats and building them up.
L'Oreal Superstar Super Liner- I didn't try this product until October but since then, I have been obsessed with it. It is so easy to hold and guide accurately across the eyelid, it produces a bold, black line and can be used to create a thin, more subtle eye look or can be built up to create a more defined eye look, particularly great for cat eye flicks.
Maybelline Colour Show Velvet Lip Crayon- Again, I didn't buy these until October but I've loved using them since. As I've mentioned numerous times since then, they can be used simply as a lip liner or can easily be used to fill in all of the lips, they are easy to apply neatly, they are very long lasting even when eating and drinking and have a great colour payoff.
Maybelline Brow Satin Dark Blonde- This is another product that I've been raving about for many months and still love now. It's the product I always trust to fill in my brows as it's the right shade for my hair and skin colour, it can be built up to create either a subtle or a defined brow look and it's easy to use.
Revolution Eye Palettes- Towards the end of 2015, I tried a couple of eye palettes by Revolution and was very impressed by them. They were incredibly inexpensive but were still a good quality with a good amount of pigmentation.
Revolution Ultra Blush Palette Golden Sugar- Since buying this product in October, I have been using it most days. The matte bronze shade is useful for contouring and the shimmer blush and bronze shades create a lovely shimmery cheek look which helps to highlight your features. The palette again was very affordable and I personally found it an excellent quality.
Max Factor Face Finity 3 in 1- Of all the foundations I have tried and tested in 2015, this one was my clear favourite. As it is a 3 in 1 foundation, primer and concealer, it tends to stay in place longer than several others do, it's great for blending and the medium to high coverage makes it a great foundation for when you have more imperfections than normal.
Real Techniques- Before 2015, my brush collection was very limited but I finally got myself a couple of Real Techniques brushes and I was far more impressed than I ever expected to be. I now love the face brushes that I have and will probably purchase some new ones in 2016 as they are of a high quality and blend makeup very well.

Music:
Shawn Mendes- I mentioned Shawn Mendes 'Handwritten' album in my monthly favourites from February to May and whilst my obsession with it has decreased, I still love to go back to it every so often and still love each and every song as much as I did at the start of the year.
Meghan Trainor- You may have seen me mention 'Title' along with Shawn Mendes in my monthly favourites on and off from February to May and like with 'Handwritten', I still like to go back to it every so often. Like I've mentioned on here before I'm in two minds really when it comes to Meghan Trainor as I really enjoy listening to her songs and there are some lyrics that I really love but at the same time there are some lyrics that I really dislike and disagree with.
5 Seconds Of Summer- In 2015 my love for 5SOS grew massively and Sounds Good Feels Good is easily one of my top albums of the year. I like the direction their sound has gone in and find myself both loving the music and relating to the lyrics.
Little Mix- Like with 5SOS, my love for Little Mix grew massively in 2015. I've always enjoyed their music but I've never enjoyed it on this level before. I always admire the way they perform live and the fact that they can sing and dance so well together.

YouTubers:
Velvetgh0st- 2015 was the year that Gabby rose to the top of my YouTube favourites (along with a couple of others) and I found myself really looking forward to her main channel videos and her vlogs. I love the way she isn't afraid to stand up to things she disagrees with and I fail to understand why she receives as much hate as she does over the littlest things.
Hobbie Stuart- I discovered Hobbie's videos last year and fell in love with both his voice and his personality. I particularly love watching videos of Hobbie and Gabby together as they're always hilarious to watch.
Sprinkle of Glitter- Although I've been watching Louise's videos since late 2012/early 2013, I enjoyed her videos so much more in 2015 and frequently looked forward to her uploads. I also really admire the things she does for others such as taking presents to the hospital near Christmas which both helps other people and teaches her daughter and her viewers the importance of helping others. Furthermore, I really enjoyed her book (review here) and I'm loving her 2016 diary so far.
Zoella- Once again, Zoe's videos have been some of my favourites to watch, both main channel and vlogs. Her infectious personality never fails to make me smile or laugh and her videos are often not only enjoyable but are also really useful.
IISuperWomanII- I haven't really been that interested in Lilly's videos until the latter part of the year when I binged watched so many of them and found myself thoroughly enjoying her videos and frequently laughing from start to finish. She has now become one of my top 5 YouTubers and I get really excited when I see that she has uploaded.

TV/Film:
Pretty Little Liars- Of course this TV show is in my favourites, I've been enjoying watching it for a few years now and this year has been on a whole new level, particularly the mid season finale of season 6 whereby we discovered who A was. The series seemed to take a much darker turn in season 6 and the drama of it was intensified making it even more addictive.
90210- I thoroughly enjoyed watching all series of 90210 and although the characters and the repetitive story lines are extremely irritating at times, I still found the show very entertaining.
Eye Candy- I never expected to enjoy this TV show as much as I did but it was the only series I have been addicted to almost as much as PLL. It was incredibly intense and exciting to watch with elements of horror, drama, mystery and crime making it appealing to a number of people.
Scream Queens- I really loved watching this horror comedy series. The cast was incredible with a large number of big names which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. I also found some of the episodes particularly funny which helped grab my attention further.
22 Jump Street- This is one of the standout films of the year for me as I could not stop laughing through out. Whilst I enjoyed the first film, this film was especially great and I have rewatched it many times through out the year and still love it as much as when I first saw it.
Pitch Perfect 2- Another sequel that I enjoyed more than the first film; Pitch Perfect 2 is hilarious with incredible songs and a good plot.

I could go on talking about many other favourites I've had through out 2015 but I think I've rambled enough and although I probably haven't covered everything, I've covered the main stand out things. My highlights of 2015 and favourite moments post features some of my favourite memories of the year so if you are interested in reading about them then you can check them out here. Let me know what your favourite things were in 2015?

Seven Deadly Sins of Beauty

1. GREED: What are your most expensive and inexpensive beauty items?
The most expensive would probably be my Vice 2 Palette by Urban Decay and the most inexpensive would be any of the products I've picked up for a bargain price in pound stretcher or another similar store such as the Rimmel Scandaleyes gold gel liner.
2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
There isn't one that stands out as a product that I have a love/hate relationship with but like many people, I love when eyeliner goes well but I hate it when it's uneven or too thick or just not quite right which happens a lot more often than I'd like.
3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
I'm not entirely sure if this is literally referring to a delicious taste or whether it's more metaphorical in terms of looking great but I'm going to answer it as though it's the first one in which case I would say Benefit bene-balm or any of my Simple Pleasure lip balms.
4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
On a daily basis, I neglect coloured lip products as I can never be bothered to keep topping up the product through out the day. Instead, I just use these when I'm going out somewhere nice.
5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
I tend to have a lot less confidence when I have no make up on and find that simply adding a bit of mascara can make quite a significant amount of difference except when my skin isn't in very good condition which it really isn't at the moment. However, if I have a full face of make up, it's the eyeliner that makes the most difference to my confidence.
6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
Physically I'd say a nice smile, nice eyes and tall but I'm definitely more interested in the personality of the person than the physical features and I think the most attractive personality attributes would be a good sense of humour, trustworthy and caring.
7: ENVY: What beauty items would you most like to receive as a gift?
I can't pick my answer for this one as I love so many different ones and constantly discover new products that I'd like to try. Although as a gift, I'd maybe say any form of eye shadow or gift set as they're easier to have bought for you than any skin/face products such as foundation etcetera.

What I Got For Christmas 2015

I had an incredible Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my family, as chaotic as it gets when we're all together. It was also really lovely to see everybody enjoying it, especially the little ones who were mesmerized by the phone call they received from Father Christmas. I want to thank everybody who played a part in making my Christmas a wonderful one, by their presence, their well wishes or their very generous gifts. I received so much more than I was expecting and love every single thing that I was bought so I am sincerely thankful to everybody that gave me anything.

Sorry this post is so late, I went away for New Years and didn't get chance to finish the post before I left. However, I personally love to see what other people receive for Christmas or birthdays (I'm very nosy) and so I wanted to upload one myself for anybody else like me to have a nosy at (even if it is late) but also for myself to look back at in the future. If this type of blog post isn't your thing, no worries, just stop reading now and come back on Tuesday to see my next blog post, but for those that are interested in seeing what I got, I'll stop rambling now and you can have a nosy through.

Out of those I have used already, I found that the Baylis and Harding toiletry bag was the ideal shape and size for taking all of my toiletries away with me; every single one of the Benefit perfumes smells incredible, each different but amazing in their own way so once I've used each of these and have decided on a favourite, I'm pretty sure I'll be treating myself to a full sized bottle (if I can afford it). The bed hoodie is one of the softest things I've ever felt and it's so comfortable to wear when I'm lounging around the house. The Lush Candy Christmas Box includes some of my favourite Christmas Lush products including Candy Mountain Bubble Bar and Snow Fairy Shower Gel. Whilst I'm excited to use these in the bath, I currently enjoy the candy smell I get when I walk into my room. When I was in Germany I found the Cath Kidston bed socks a great gift., they kept my feet nice and toasty as well as looked quite pretty. Similarly, my purse was a great accessory to have with me as I really loved the floral pattern and it fit nicely into my bag.

Inside Out quickly became my favourite film when I first saw it and I was very excited to get my hands on it so that I could enjoy watching it again and again. I also really loved watching both Joe and Caspar Hit The Road and 5 Seconds of Summer How Did We End Up Here as they were extremely entertaining, Hit The Road for its humour (and plenty of it) and 5SOS' DVD for their music and the emotion and detail behind their development as a band. The wireless speaker is really useful as it plays both my phone and my iPod without a lead or needing to connect over Bluetooth and is of a pretty good quality. I've also really enjoyed listening to the three CDs which are all excellent.

If you hadn't guessed by now, I love notebooks so I was very happy to have a couple of new notebooks in my possession. I'm yet to decide which I want to use now and which I want to save for university but wither way, I'm excited to write in them. I also love the calendar as it has plenty of room to write in each day and it is centered around one of my favourite bands.
